Paris - Mom did you know that when I die I am never going to heaven? You want to know why?
Me - why!?
Paris - Because right before I go to heaven I am going to open my eyes!

- I am a mother of 5 kids ages 2-8. I've been married for 12 years to the most good, handsome and charming man on the sphere. I love to cook and write poetry. But the real story behind why I have a blog is my experience in the last 6 years after the birth of my twins. It has been a long journey and is a long story that I am sure will unfold on my blog over time. I now have two children with Mitochondrial disease, 3 children with asthma, 4 children with bad environmental allergies and one child with severe food allergies. So when I say I like to cook and write poetry - it is for therapy! I have also had to find alot of resources along the way and have always wanted to be able to share what I have learned - and am continuing to learn - with other mom's who may be at a cross-roads knowing something is wrong with their child and not knowing what to do next, or finding out what is wrong with their child and needing to know where to go next. I also like to share laughter, as that is a daily occurance in my house because I am blessed with hillarious children and a very wierd sense of humor myself.

well, my 5 year old daughter said she's going to hold on to her chair really tight so she won't die.
